How do these people become this alienated from basic humanity over mask mandates? Like I really don’t even understand people who are super annoyed by masks let alone this level of inhuman hatred.
capitalism hasn't really improved people's lives on anything in the last few decades, the only "advantage" bourgeois democracy still has is the illusion of personal liberty
any threat to that perceived liberty is gonna be met with utmost violence as they desperately hang on to it, especially regarding white people
I think that makes sense. It’s hard for me to imagine the logic because I haven’t believed anything similar to that in a long time.
You raise a good point, and I think along that line all the extreme anti-authoritarian government tropes in media and school have helped create a paranoia around stuff like this. Chuds have always been known to eat up slippery slope fallacies after all, and “freedom” is part of their identity
