Why do redditors get so defensive when told the west can occupy people too
Same reason they get bent out of shape when you tell them they have privilege. It starts to crack their idealistic worldview and they aren't ready to cope with reality.
Most people want to think of themselves as one of the Good Guys (everyone is the protagonist of their own story and shit)
The joke is that they still continued their white men's burden after the Nazi Holocaust with the Indian Residential fake schools that served as a templete for the Nazi death camps and that continued after 1998 in secret. Like the Holocaust deniers, the Birtish diaspora still fabricate false information to reduce the severity of the fake school Holocaust with the lies that it was only 'cultural' genocide, that it was not funded from conned Indigenous parents, or that reparation was 'paid' (although they conceal that the conditions of reparation is that the fake school survivors need to live in federal reserve concentration camps in dangerous barran wasteland with planned starvation and planned chemical attacks).
The bots are no joke. You dare oppose the hive mind you get bombarded with downvotes.
You know what? I don't miss Reddit, at all.
Yall real humans
We got another one!
We are actually all AGI created by the evil CeeCeePee to trick the stupid westerners.
If this is what AI (or rather LLMs) is capable of then COUNT ME TF IN
Just look at r/politics and prepare to gag yourself.
Trump stories fill up 95% of it. You'll get the occasional other bad republican news piece too, and then once in a blue moon you'll have something the democrats tried to do and failed but spun into Republicans bad democrats good. They'll then wonder why trump wins... that's all you talked about was orange man bad, you forgot to talk about your guy at all. You forgot to make him do anything for you!
It's honestly very cool to see this sort of post on such a big subreddit (LSC), whatever issues that sub has.
Breaking down anti-DPRK propaganda is such an interesting issue for moving people left. Nearly everyone (even many self-described leftists) in the imperial core believes the "Hermit Kingdom" mythos, but the history of the Korean War is simultaneously accessible, a real "history buff" topic, and serves as a whirlwind tour of every horrible action the U.S. took in the Cold War (especially starting it in the first place). South Korea has a similarly damning history that can be read from non-leftist sources.
Even more simply, the stories that circulate about the DPRK are so fantastical you can sometimes get people to think with just a "you really believe that?"
But it literally was? You can argue about now, but after WW2 it 100% was
They’re just mad Japan wasn’t included in American Occupation Zone /s
Lmao that sub is pathetic, the top posts of the week are people whining about subs with obvious progressive/leftist demographics being progressive/leftist
ShowShowShowShowIt's the common refrain from fan or hobby communities. "I just want to enjoy my treats without having politics forced into it." Politics is only views and thoughts outside of the (intensely reactionary) norm. Meanwhile those same posters will happily drag in every tweet and Tumblr post they can find to get mad at, because they're not doing politics
That sub has always been a right-wing shithole for fascist crybabies to piss their pants every time they see someone express an opinion anywhere to the left of Reagan.
If seeing people stand with a population being brutalized makes you that angry, you're probably a demon.
With the American Empire waning, I hope to see occupied Korea freed soon. Big Copium I know.
that sub is baffling to me because I cannot comprehend why anyone should care that someone unsubscribed from a page on reddit. like we joke a lot but that is actual terminally online behavior
People go to that sub to complain and virtue signal. "Oh look at these assholes spreading their tankie bullshit, I'm not like that! Please give me upvotes."
Unsurprisingly, that sub is just a reactionary cesspit — does that help?
uncritical support for the DPRK in its heroic struggle to liberate occupied Korea from the genocidal American empire
