    I managed to keep my surprise for my boyfriend secret until the night of.

    I mentioned before that he said he always wanted to see a specific play one day and I got us tickets.

    We had a great time and he told me he loved me for the first time when we got back.

    I told him about a month ago and was cool with him taking his time to determine if he felt the same way. I've gotta say though, it was nice to hear it. I've always wanted to plan something romantic for someone and I lucked out that he appreciates the things I do for him.
