yeah, surprising that people seems to be waking up a tiny bit in a city subreddit
It's because Nazis have taken over all the main Canada subreddits and the only "leftist" Canadian subreddit is an op. City subreddits are the only place to have organic discussions.

This misses just how much the fash have occupied the big Canadian subreddits. Even canadapolitics which was fine for awhile was made by an extremely far-right conservative and they've recently been banning on ideology so much that the entire place is an echo chamber of like 3 or 4 alt-right trolls. Sure you get your fash on city subreddits, but usually they're just genuine citizens who just so happen to be fash, not American infiltrators going out of their way to spread proto-Nazi ideology.
