    considering humans are a luxury organism, maintaining a high internal temp all the time, with our big fatty brains processing and filtering data day and night burning up 20% of our energy consumption when resting, we don't hibernate, we're not covered in thick fur.... biological systems are supremely energy efficient.

    It's actually better, we only need to EAT 100 watts, because digestion is very inefficient. The remaining undigested calories get pooped out.
