If nothing else, perhaps it is for the best that the frontiers of humanity's future- space, the transition to green energy, etc- be built safely away from excessive US influence nowadays. Western behavior makes it clear, particularly as of late, our elites hold nothing sacred, and will weaponize, attempt to sabotage, and destroy anything in their quest for hegemony.
