    Why does mozilla private tabs share cookies :meow-tableflip:

        Between each tab I mean, nothing sketchy. like I open paywalled site and get freebie article, but until I close private session and reopen it, I can’t get another one in new tab

          Oh, honestly I think I prefer that behavior. If I'm logged into something on a private window I want to stay logged in.

          Maybe they could make it where separate windows count as separate private sessions and don't share cookies.

            The tricky part with that is that it may limit the ability to rearrange tabs between windows (or at least produce weird or unexpected behavior)

    They could, but since it doesn't involve making the UI worse for no reason or taking away features people use, I can't imagine that they will.
