    Like say if you hire a guy to tile your bathroom and everything is poorly spaced, poorly measured and the tiles themselves are all turned around so where there should be a pattern is just random. You could use that to keep moisture out of the concrete. It's not a total loss. But if you wanted to fix it, you would have to do a full re-do.

    Another thing is maybe the work done is just plain not up to code. All transactions have considerations where the buyer may reasonably refuse to pay for one reason or another. My candy bar didn't have the chocolate coating. You sent me home with the wrong baby.
