      i told them that Amazon is a hellcompany that abuses workers and they flipped out at me for trying to sabotage them, so probably not

            It's important to emphasize how toxic that practice is, my company does a neutered version where only bonuses and raises are decided "performance". Knowing in the back of your mind that every thing you take credit for is hurting someone else, and everything someone else gets credit for hurts you is absolutely terrible.

            You can make good money quickly and use it as a stepping stone to a place that's both high salary and doesn't suck to work at, but you need an exit plan at all times. Everyone eventually burns out or is shown the door. It'd suck to deal with the stress of working there and end up at a lower paying job when your time at amazon is finished.

            Even with the prestige of working at a FAANG and high salary, they have one of the highest turnovers in the tech industry.
