oh dang, I'm actually pretty far past that, I'm in one of the endgame areas now. I've been running a pure strength Heavy scaling claymore. Hoarfrost stomp weapon art for some range when necessary. the R2 poke is really nice even if it doesn't have the best scaling. Also, the mimic tear is pretty amazing and I just started using it and it crushes bosses. I wanted to respec into magic but then i started having to think, and I don't like thinking that much in souls games. haha steel go thwack
I DID have a ton of trouble in caelid, just not on the magma wyrm. The minor erdtree avatar+catacombs and the duo warrior/crucible knight kicked my ass.
I'm running a strenght build with the greatsword and I drop the dumb mimic at the slightest opportunity and usually its able to not only tank a million hits when upgraded (seems like the mimic gets several times your HP when fully upgraded), if I attack at the same time I usually get a stagger. Kinda dig it.
i've noticed it has super high health too. try using a good weapon art! i don' tthink the mimic has an FP limit so it'll sometimes spam it
The last 30% of this game is horribly unbalanced and needs a patch.
This has nothing to do with the pic I just wanted to say it.
Shit we're out of time and we haven't made any new enemies for the final areas
Quick just place the most random ass enemies everywhere and give them all five times as much health and damage, also speed up all the boss animations to twice the speed because bideo gaem hard
Fucking specced for Dex/Int without even knowing about this sword and I shred through damn near everything
Raya Lucaria was a bit harder, but then I just switched to my Uchigatana and cut through them without magic
Is this the moonveil? I’m dex/int too but I can’t stop using the twin blade lol
The Academy is a "Fuck you, mage" stage, almost everywhere else has proven to be way easier. The Meteorite Staff/Rock Sling helped.
i have discrarded all my other weapons in favor of godslayer greatsword and i have zero regrets
Is the moonveil sword more broken than the flipping havel ninjas in the early days of Dark Souls?
Dual scavenger curved swords occult arcane bleed build rise up.
Don't even need sudoku on em. Can put it on the left and blood hound on the right, still bleeds in two hits with 50 arcane. Dump the rest into dex.
Can't wait for arcane fire fix for river.
Today a certain leftist political streamer was on the verge of tears, justifying that using the Mimic Tears and spamming Moonviel katana r2 attacks wasn't easy mode
