It started with Christmas $15,000 music video, paid out of pocket.
Its quite interesting how the fans seem to be reacting as though this kind of corprate abuse is unprecedented rather than commonplace. Is the averge person really so naive to the injustice of capital?
I mean, this hasn't happened once before... in fact, NijisanjiEN is well known as an exceptionally shitty V-tuber corp, in the sense that it blatantly puts out more quantity than quality for effiency, when it comes to v-tuber-to-good management ratio...
Edit: this is not to say that V-tuber corps are usually good, as well, they're corporations...
I don't follow Vtubers, so can someone explain why they have to go through agencies? It seems pretty simple for them to buy modeling for a few hundred/thousand dollars and start streaming instead of being chained to a corporation.
Idk too... I guess it's the same reason why people take out loans to buy houses, it's just that more efficient and economical I guess?
I mean, you'll have to find a manager for:
organizing interviews
collaborations
paid promotions
ad content on streams.
Sometimes they can be financial advisors, but that is not always the case, as money made through agencies may include subscription or merchandise sales.
