well the RSDLP had about as many factions as this lol
I hate it here. It fucking sucks.
Though, gotta say -- this is the one of the few benefits of being in a smaller chapter.
Goddamn... it feels like 1917 pre-Boleshevik consolisation
leftypol caucus
lmao okay
I like how positive this post was even when describing people it disagreed with :left-unity-2:
While not a fan of all his work
Bloody understatement innit. I should have had him :pika-pickaxe: 'd , like comrade Stalin proposed. Not entirely sure how he came up with that idea tho. Might want to keep an eye on him.
You haven't seen shit yet. Nepali communist splits
Not American and haven't read this at all bit here's my take glancing at it: If your party is a flowchart then you've fucked up hard somewhere.
https://communistcaucus.com/strategic-approaches/ Communist Caucus seems..... pretty good ? tell me about how they are pests or maoists or libs or whatever
Posting on a fresh account for posting discipline reasons, but I've had only positive experiences. Very focused on tenant organizing. They are also very good about not being too online about stuff, depoliticization is a major focus in political education. They do work plans for members, generally focusing on outlining concrete things to do in pursuit of the strategic approaches. They are primarily recruiting through direct contacts right now (no more web form).
not clear on why this is a bad thing. if you really want a single party to represent "the left," it will necessarily be pluralistic. if your aim is to get everyone to adopt your specific doctrine, you've set an impossible task for yourself.
If my chapter had this many splits then literally everyone at the general meeting this month would have been their own faction
