    The reassurance seeking and other addictive properties of social media are by design. They affect some people more than others, which to the ruling class is a good thing. A similar thing is done with video games that have addictive and manipulative monetization and they see some really being pulled into it and being drained dry as a good thing.

    Fuck those people.

    This is largely a deliberate social media thing. Not sure if you were around for early internet, but y olde forums of olde were far less based on the posturing and deliberate addiction-to-ad-money of today and more about havin' a nice time. Do take care <3
