recently I been reading about this incident and other shit like p-hacking and it has completely eroded my previous belief in the intrinsic trustworthiness of peer reviewed studies.
yeah, but the full article talks about how most peer reviewers are volunteers with limited time and shits to give, which is how stuff like this gets published
