    they have traditional guns on the wall of every house that are for 'defense of the village against invaders' and they purposefully dont keep these guns clean and stuff as a point of pride that they havent had to fight in a long time, so theyre all rusted and the wood is splintered. honestly a cool aesthetic. saw that detail from a cgtn video about these people

    but they also have guns of other kinds that are of cultural significance like welcoming people and stuff like said in the video

    their guns lack stocks. if you've ever wondered why smoothbore guns had stocks, when they're not really so accurate that merely pointing isn't close enough and they don't even really have iron sights, it's because the Arquebus originally had to be lit by inserting a match into a touch hole, and with one hand occupied it actually did significantly improve accuracy to be able to add the shoulder as a point of contact.

      also theres like 8 million people in the militias of china and if you look at how their meetups are theyre mostly just gun/mutual aid clubs

      so yeah if youre a socialist and like guns but not into doing full on military stuff youre gonna be chilling in the militia
