This popped onto my radar following @jamaicanjihadi on twitter, as he was on an episode making fun of (North American) "patriotic socialism" (episode here)
But now that I've had some time to listen to an episode and look through their catalogue, I see they've released quite a lot over the last month. The focus seems to be generally historical in nature, rather than "pure theory", let's say.
The one that made me make this post is Panther Internationalism: The Black Panthers in Cuba, North Korea, Algeria, China, and Vietnam, an interview with Sean Malloy.
The interviewee goes into some detail about Eldridge Cleaver, how he fled from the US to Cuba, who then shipped him off to Algeria (since he asked Cuba for support in creating an insurrectionary army that would invade the US lol), and how he eventually hooked up with the DPRK, as they didn't really care about pissing the US off. I don't believe they gave him resources to create an army, but he was welcome to chill there. I'm not finished with the episode, and that's just one topic not the focus, but it seems to be to be a very nice, very historical analysis.
The podcast itself seems to have pretty far-ranging interests: lots of global south interviews, many coming from the African continent. They've interviewed a couple people that are relatively well-known on the left; I noticed Ajamu Baraka and Justin Podhur.
Worth a follow for anyone who has the time to listen.
