While up to a dozen EU countries have received Russian LNG since February 2022, the key importers remain Belgium, Spain, and France, which together account for 88 percent of the EU’s Russian LNG imports during the last 10 months.

Not a single link even mentions Germany...

It like you are not able to provide a single source for that claim. I am happy to admit that it does (I honestly don't know), but at the moment youre source is "Trust me bro" and given the quality of your replies in this thread to me and others I, very politly, choose not to do so.

Germany stopped receiving pipeline gas from Russia in late August 2022. While there is no EU embargo on natural gas, the government said shortly after the start of the war that it intended to reduce the share from Russia significantly over the course of two years. However, Russia itself reduced supplies step-by-step and halted them completely in the summer of 2022, shortly before explosions destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines – the only direct gas links between Germany and Russia

From your source. You are welcome to quote the part where it shows that Germany is getting LNG from Russia through other EU countries.

Edit: Also, look for numbers from 2023, not 2022. It's a little outdated, given the current events surrounding Russia. The charts still show Germany using Nuclear energy. Lol.

I see you don't understand the difference between intent and actual action. So far, Germany is happily receiving LNG from EU that's largely purchased from Russia. That's the real world we're living in. I love how Germans are doing an equivalent of money laundering by routing Russian LNG through third parties to convince their feeble minded public that Germany isn't actually dependent on Russian gas. 😂

Which you have repeatedly failed to show a single source for. I am not even contesting this, I just ask you to back it up. Which you haven't, albeit trying several times.

If you want to believe this I am fine with it. But untill you back it up by any source other than links that don't contain the information you are pretending they are, it remains a nice story you tell yourself to back up your world view. Which is fine, we all do. Just don't pretend you are doing anything else.

I love how you keep pretending your sources back up anything you said. If so, please, just feel free to give us a quote.

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) has published its gas supply preliminary figures for 2023, which show that Germany's gas imports fell by nearly 33% decrease compared to 2022. The largest quantities came from Norway (43%), the Netherlands (26%) and Belgium (22%).

Since you are claiming that Germany is using Russian gas you should be able to show me that Norway, the Netherlands and Belgium are importing Russian Gas into Germany. If you can do the you final managed to back up your claim.

                          Can you?

Where do Norway, Netherlands, and Belgium get gas from. Are you seriously incapable of understanding that EU is purchasing LNG and then some of that LNG is dolled out to Germany?

I've linked a lot of articles detailing where LNG in Europe is coming from in a comment earlier. Go ahead and read them.

Honey, I wasn't contesting that. I just asked you to back it up.

Amd then it too ME to Google YOUR claim. I'm not saying your wrong. I'm just saying your realy fucking bad at discussing this stuff if you need outers to look up your claims. 0

How so? I just asked you back up a claim. And it took us about 15 comments before I just looked it up myself.

Anyhow, today I learned something new, which is that Germany is still using Russian LNG. Follow up question would be how much and why Belgium, France and the Netherlands are still importing, thus financially supporting the Russian war. I not asking you this, mind you. As we have learned it's more efficient if I just look it up myself 😉

I made factual claim that's easy to verify, which is what you eventually have done yourself. I've even provided you with lots of sources to get started with that show where Europe gets its gas from. I further helped you connect the dots to understand where German LNG is coming from. Yet, here you are accusing me of not providing enough information for you. As if I'm obliged to work for free to educate you. Seems to me that you're just an incredibly entitled individual.

You make the claim, you bring the source. Not that hard to understand, one would think, but what ever. I won't participate in a shouting match. Have a good one.
