Hey everyone, I'm a long-time user of this site just using an alt to avoid doxxing myself. I meant to post something about my SF trilogy being released but haven't gotten around to it until today. These books are for sale on amazon, so mods please remove this post if it's inappropriate.

The entire trilogy takes place in a universe where the 2020 uprising overthrew the US government and established a global workers' state. Ten years later, we're sending ships to other stars, and attracting the interest of interstellar empires.

Space Corps the first book, involves the crew of one of these ships fighting on an alien world where they've been enslaved into gladiators battling for their lives in shapeshifting arenas which even alter memories. You can get this book here.

Star Drive, the second book, is the Odyssey to the first book's Iliad, and involves the son of the first book's main character searching for his father as Earth is besieged by a Dyson Sphere. You can get this book here.

Cosmonauts, the last book in the trilogy, will be released a month from now, and—since I ran out of famous Greek epics—is based on Gilgamesh. This is my personal favorite out of the series and describes the degeneration of a war hero (the main character in the series) who is elected Earth's leader.

I wrote all of these books while giving myself hexbear brainworms literally every day, so if you're interested in SF I hope you'll enjoy them. edit: thanks to the people in the megathread who upvoted me so I can make threads now.

Sounds like an awesome premise. Good luck with your capitalist endeavors to fund communist propaganda.

the Odyssey to the first book’s Iliad, and involves the son of the first book’s main character

Now I haven't finished Space Corps yet, but I haven't gotten to the 2 chapter-long genealogies of all involved combatants or the 300th reference to mail shirts jingling and jangling as [INSERT INCOMPREHENSIBLE GREEK NAME HERE] collapses into the dirt

just kidding, excited to finish Space Corps so I can get on to Star Drive!
