Yeah, that was a stupid time.

Glad users in more recent times are mature enough to just quietly go elsewhere instead of trying to make an unnecessary and annoying spectacle out of it.

yeah, it was abusive as fuck, and I hate how it was mostly mods doing it, and then not even leaving.

The whole point is to get a bunch of "don't leave! we need you!" posts. It's fishing for compliments from sad people who have no positive feelings in their lives. When your life is that shit, a single positive comment from an internet rando can make you smile, and you know how rare smiles are for them? Jesus.

Plus the "look what you did, now you made me leave" passive-aggressive method. "This is YOUR fault that this happened!"

I don't know the intimate details, I just thought it was tacky that she did the behavior described above and then did it again like a day later with an equally eye-rolling "I'M STAYING" post.

Just seemed like very drama queen behavior.

Their reaction was understandable when you look at the shit flung towards LGBTQIA users at the beginning of the site.

Pretty sure she was wanting to leave after the pronoun shit show, so yeah I can't imagine why she was so frustrated 🙄

Of course that detail seems to be forgotten by some people

Or all the harrassing DMs people received on top of that.

Like there were legitimate problems that eventually got sorted out

Look, I'm not lookin' to start an online feud or anything: Maybe overall she's great and I caught her on a bad posting day, we all have em'.

          Hot take:

TC69 was the worst non-troll poster on the site and if she had continued to take an active role in the site it would probably not still exist today. Extremely reddit person

Reddit behavior is when you're exhausted by people making a scene about pronoun tags on a website, so you log off and join a communist party...

This was back when LGBTQIA users would regularly be harrassed in the DMs with propositions for nude pics or for slurs to be screamed at them. And straight users would brigade the LGBT communities for the purpose of being bigoted.

So it's understandable why people got mad.

So is this post your version of a "goodbye" post? Because you seem like you're trying to commit account suicide by mod.

I'm not, I'd hope I wouldn't be banned over what at most amounts to a light and pretty tame jab at an ex-mod who possibly hasn't been here for 2 months as of now.
