Sanders's lost disillusioned us all in some way, but even now you can still see some people hooting for CTH to insert itself into the conversation about every left-ish movement. And I feel like among these people, only a small number believes that CTH has some kind of big, real-world impact. The majority just want to hear the hosts' takes and make it their own takes. They are relying on CTH to think for themselves. I just want to ask these people why do they take the podcast this serious, especially after they have been wrong many times.

What majority does this exactly? Plus as Ligma said, they are right about quite a lot of shit. I don't get the hate or crying over any lack of hate they get sometimes. People like listening to people talk about this stuff who have pretty rare opinion for mass media. Like how many podcasts are taking as clear a stance as they are on Ukraine? I held off on listening to their eps about the war but when I did, they essentially could have been reading the megathreads.

People are not making their opinions into their own, they just agree with them on shit. Or more directly "who are these people?" cause it seems you are getting mad at an imagined or exaggerated public

I didn't say there was a majority, just that these people appear consistently enough. Basically reply guys who never seems to pass the "Go on Chapo" phase, but now they moan a lot. But you're right, I'm probably getting worked up over nothing.

It's funny, maybe we witness just the exact opposite groups of fans, cause a lot of the people I see in BWF talk shit on them, usually for having the right take on stuff like Jan 6th and Ukraine
