The Greens weren't really a faction, they ranged from Socialist Peasant rebellions because the White Armies were brutal, to Socialist Peasant rebellions because the local Red forces fucked up, to a bunch of anti-semitic farmers who just wanted to kill all the local Jews.
It's kind of a catch-all term to describe rural armies that aren't formally anarchist or red.
if I recall correctly there was also a group of assorted bandits/militias who varied from wanting to protect their local area from the war to wanting to take advantage of the chaos and steal shit in the English civil war. I think they might even have been called the greens

So basically they're like the numerous local security forces/protection squads in the Syrian civil war
