Dad Rock gets a lot of hate around here but I think everyone has at least one that they like.
It's certainly not an obscure one but mine is definitely Crazy Train because it makes me nostalgic af for playing Madden 2011 on the Wii with my brothers.

REM is pretty great in general. They were one of my faves growing up
