Considering that there's stuff like aphantasia I wouldn't be that surprised if there's a handful of people who can imagine smells or tastes. Recently a bunch of people on twitter (including Chelsea Manning) were claiming they don't have inner monologue.
What type of cow do you imagine? I imagined a cow and my first instinct was a cartoon cow with an overly exaggerated face, like you might see in a 3D animated movie.

If you're bored you can simply close your eyes and rotate a cow in your mind. It's free and the cops can't stop you
But for real, even though I can picture it like that, my mental sense of space and scale is really fucking bad, so it doesn't really help.

They're good cows, nothing wrong with that. I like the Belted Galloway, but mum prefers the Jersey Cattle because of their big puppy dog eyes
