    Democracy can only be protected if you let a 83 year old who's already had cancer once stay on the court, even though she understands more than anyone else that the whole thing is a sham that runs on strategic retirement.

    I mean, fuck RGB, but we would have just had a 5-4 court if she had retired sooner. I doubt Roe would have been safe either way.

    We really should blame Obama for not just putting Garland in there in his last year when McConnell refused to hold hearings. I don't know if it would have worked, but he could have tried.
