I want a comically huge faux fur black long jacket. I want to wear fishnets. I want to go around in any country without the fear of getting assaulted for looking too queer. I want to be able to afford it. And I don't want a job for no reason dictating how I look like AND making me pay for it.
I am so going to be homeless and jobless, aren't I? :(
Thanks for this discovery. Do you know where I could find examples of working class vintage hairdressing? I don't know if there's a vintage fashion radical values community on the Fediverse
Sadly I don't know much about this topic, the best I can tell you is to see is there isn't some historians, anthropologists or sociologists who wrote books or papers on hairdressing in former or current socialists countries and look for historical pictures. Maybe you can also try to find vintage soviet hairdresser textbooks or something like that.
Thank you for the ideas :) it's try that when I get around to it. If I find anything I'll report it here
since you said "hairdressing" and I assume that means femme, my immediate thought is photos of factories during world war two
Sorry if that was the wrong word. It would be more masculine. Thank you though, that's a great idea for feminine haircuts
