Job is really the wrong word of course. But what I'm really asking is what would you love to do if pay/work conditions/environment etc weren't totally terrible.

Like for me I've been dreaming of being a teacher. But I know I'd take a massive pay cut, have to work 100x harder, and be shit on constantly in our current system.

But when I have taught before both professionally and personally it's always a joy. I love explaining things, working with people as they figure out problems, and it really drives me to learn more myself.

i'd enjoy some manual labor building/constructing/productive community based job once or twice a week. i like building stuff, from landscaping work to putting a house together. esp if you remove the profit motive and stressful time pressures. i could also still do what i do a few days a week and manage/stock/serve at a food distribution center. 20-30 hrs a week, 4 days of actual, fullfilling work would be nice. in my own time i'd probably get back into writing again because i'm horribly rusty , and dive back into other old hobbies that i've totally neglected as i've gotten older. if i was still in my 20s i'd want to do actual scientific work or go back to school. take away the frantic desire to "make more money" and i'd probably do classes on my free time just to expand my knowledge without a real educational goal.
