The amount of active users never got as high again. Beginning of May 2021 you see a spike in active users but that follows a period of low or no registrations.

I think this was probably the time I stopped doing advertising in /r/therightcantmeme. The site registration being shut down meant that me throwing the Hexbear ads up there was literally pointless and people not being able to register on a site I was telling people to go register on was making me look silly.
This caused me to then slow up on doing TRCM sticky posts, then stop, as one of the primary reasons I was doing them was to drive users here.
It never recovered because I moved on from doing it and my primary focus became setting up greenandpleasant for the future and making sure it was wrecker-proof.
