Good Twitter thread on a study (data from the World Bank published in research for the American Journal of Public Health) that showed socialist countries beat capitalist countries when it comes to metrics that actually matter to people (like physical health).
Commenting because I can't seem to save the post. Also this isn't that surprising if you had any sense of where the Soviet countries and China were at the start of their revolutions and compared that with what they would go on to manage.
