For me it's just overdone as fuck, it's tacky.
They changed it to a 1930 russian vibes one. And the fact that someone used a bad-cyrilic font to signify "socialism" is actually a red-flag on them not being very socialists. Or smart.

I love platformers and this one looks... fine. Movement seems solid, like Super Mario World with some extra quirks. If they step up the enemy variety it'll probably be fun.
