Its... fine? I mean, I never liked american cheese, but also its kind of tasteless enough to almost just be a weird sauce. Dough is fine, though its more like bread that pizza. I'm down with sauce and green onions.
Overall, almost more like a weird bread than pizza, but fine enough. If I wanted to do something like it today, thick garlicy bread, with olive oil, green peppers, dipped into marinara will get you like 90% there, almost like saucier Focaccia. Add some 'cheese' sauce if you went it extra authentically Altoonan, though I'll pass; I think that's part of what makes it kind of weird. Maybe if you put some flakes of 'cheese' in the bread?
