Just let games be games, lol. It's absolutely not a medium that translates well to other forms.

    There are a million ways to make a good racing movie. The fact that the games have no story content whatsoever means you're not creatively bound by anything but "nice car go fast". It's perfect because there's nothing to worry about adapting.

        The game director is actually a big racing culture guy. I'd probably watch a show where he interviews and does ride-alongs with racecar drivers.

        Because it's a popular brand with a cool name. If I was interested in making a car movie, why not do GT? I'll get a bigger budget. If I was Sony, then I want to grow that brand.
