I love Roald Dahl’s book, but I believe he was a fascist so I’m not surprised they’re secretly reactionary.

I remember being in 4th grade and reading The Witches and for some reason I thought it was an autobiography until like half way through the book. I don’t think I read too many first person books outside of very obviously fictional ones like Diary of a Wimpy Kid and whatnot.
