I don't know why it rubs me the wrong way so much. It's very hard for me to participate in radical liberal social work/mental health-adjacent spaces. The way people talk in these spaces is very bizzarre and alien and jargon-heavy to me. I have been reading some books about attachment and trauma to try to participate better, but that level of effort feels prohibitive as a mass-movement.
with this context im not even sure what that means. i think ive only ever heard it as a noun
"It's a privileged that people are more resourced in care in this space compared to the public at large." referring to therapists having debrief/check-in sessions.
