    I actually went flying with my dad's friend decades ago. Crazy asshole let a 14 year old take the stick. Being in a cessna feels like being in a volvo station wagon in the sky

        Then we lost electrical power coming back to the air field and had to land in some rural airstrip because we couldn't contact the ATC tower.

            Yeah it was pretty cool being able to take a 30 minute trip that would've taken hours in a car to have lunch with my grand parents half the state away.
