I always found the dichotomy between Asian and European dragon mythology interesting
In Asian mythology, dragons are sacred and tend to be good or at least fair but in Europe dragons are almost always portrayed as evil
Then there's the physical differences between the two but both are considered extremely powerful within their respective myths
In both cases dragons seem to be representations of all of nature and how nature and animals were perceived by humans in the past
representations of all of nature nature is good and bad yin and yang i guess
easy. "The hugag is a fearsome critter resembling a large terrestrial mammal, quadruped, with an extensive upper-lip, preventing it from grazing, and joint-less legs preventing it from lying down"
