    Like, best case scenario you're gonna end up further entrenching a culture of conformity where anyone even slightly off-beat is regarded as free to wail on. Internet roleplayers today, anyone who's a little too quiet, listens to the wrong music, or reads the wrong books tomorrow. Worst case scenario? Well, look at that state official from Arkansas who thought mandating the use of county animal control resources to resolve school-level disputes was a dandy idea.

        Yeah, perhaps “further entrenching” would be more appropriate. Untangling this stuff gets to be a one step forward two steps back sort of affair seeing how stiff the competition is.
