Just saw the new Fred Flinstone vid about pumpkin spice lattes. He had this kind of aside about not drinking PSL (along with another one against drinking flavored coffee drinks which just seemed needlessly pedantic).
I was really surprised, so I tried looking further, and he linked some aggregate in the comments which leads to a podcast and a huge google doc with a bunch of links to different criticisms and summaries of Starbuck's sugary coffee drinks from late 2020 or so. Covering up how bad their coffee actually tastes with sugar and artificial flavors and apparently Fred Flinstone going on a misogynistic rant in some Hexbear posts. And generally a very anti-femme theme.
Anyways, I was just wondering what the Hexbear take is here. Was it a group of misogynistic posters? Just one weirdo with a Hanna-Barbera fetish? I was considering trying a pumpkin spice latte when they come back this fall, but maybe it would just spike my blood sugar.
