which projects did you listen to, and what music do you typically like? lots of his work crosses genres
I can't remember, tbh - it has been a few years. I go through phases with different genres so maybe it just wasn't the right time. Lately I've been into a lot of jazz fusion like Weather Report and my steady favorite has been the glitchy World's End Girlfriend.
In terms of rap, my taste is sort of eclectic but I'm not sure if there's much of a pattern. Like most people my age, I had a huge Weezy phase that never fully ended. Outkast, Gucci Mane, Danny Brown, Busdriver, Ghostface Killa and Method Man and the rest of the Wu, JID... that's what's on my "recently played" if that helps.
Do you have any recommendations?
danny brown makes me lean toward LP! or veteran, both of those projects are very similar to danny's style. if you need to choose, i'd describe LP! as being more sample based while veteran is much more schizoprenic. peggy and danny have worked together a bunch, peggy produced 3 tearz from uknowhatimsayin and they have a collab album coming out soon
