      Honestly I don't think it really matters that much, because firstly you could just say the name of the instance instead, and secondly people have been complaining about the branding of everything to do with the fediverse since the very beginning. The simple fact is that even if you called it "Federated Wiki" or even "Fedipedia", all that would really invite is the question of "wtf is federation" from the 99% of Wikipedia readers who have never heard of the fediverse before, then they get confused and scared off; or perhaps the name "Federated Wiki" would make them suspect that it's a centralized wiki about something called "Federated". Like, even Wikipedia itself has problems with branding because people keep thinking they're connected with Wikileaks, people keep calling Wiktionary "Wikipedia", or people keep abbreviating Wikipedia as "Wiki" even though capital-W Wiki is only supposed to refer to WikiWikiWeb / Ward's Wiki.

      That said, if I were to name such a project, I would've probably gone for something with "nomicon" in it. "Librenomicon", "Narodnomikon", something like that... But nothing's stopping these from being instance names, of course.
