His points against Sowell were thorough and good, but he regularly snipes at central planning throughout the video. It's particularly annoying because he treats it as if it's some settled fact that central planning doesn't work despite not substantially touching on it at any point (granted, a detailed look into the topic is outside the scope of the video). At one point he makes the quip (paraphrased) "If you still think centrally planned economies work, you haven't been listening to this video."
Yeah I'm not a fan of how dismissive he is of central planning, although I'll withhold judgement until he does a full explanation of what he means and why. Central planning certainly ran into problems, but the Soviet economy was highly successful for a long time in many regards, and many of the problems it ran into at the end were directly caused by moves away from central planning under Gorbachev.
And he says there'll be a part 2! I guess it's a big topic and deserves a thorough treatment.
