    Man it’s so weird how long armour stayed around as basically just expensive decoration. (It was basically useless at this point, most firearms could pierce it easily). It’s crazy to think that the Declaration of Independence was signed less than 60 years after this was made

      Most deaths on the battlefield were from disease, second most from being stabbed. Being shot was pretty far down the list.

    I don't get parents who blow tons of cash on expensive armor for their kids. They're just going to outgrow it in six months!
