Last summer there was a massive heat wave here that got bad enough that you couldn't ride the light rail at times because the heat was messing with the rail or cables or something.
Like I'd seen the rail closed because things were too icy, but because they were too hot?
Will stuff like this becoming more common lead to people using cars and motorbikes more often?
Fortunately this heat hurts the cars even more, especially when they're just idling in traffic or a drive-thru.
Unfortunately, like all climate change consequences, this mostly just hurts poor people.
