Haven't had French toast in years. Used to do Alton Brown's method. Anybody got a good vegan recipe?

e: I'm looking for recipes you yourself have actually tried. I don't want to waste food experimenting with substitutes.

    Bobs red mill makes a vegan egg replacement (potato starch, tapioca flour, baking soda, and psyllium husk fiber) that's good for stuff like that

    Black salt will help a lot with eggy flavor

        Yeah you can get pretty close to that subbing nut/soy/oat milk, an egg replacer, agave if you dont do honey, and sub some of the salt for black, vegan margarine or one of those vegan 'butter' sticks for the pan
