Africa can contribute much to the African American agenda and vice-versa.
Does Africa have a future 50 years from now? I think nearly the entire continent is going to succumb to an onslaught of heatwaves and droughts.
I want to say that a lot of the African people know how to be incredibly resilient, and that I have no doubt that there will be a future for the continent as long as people persevere. Then again, life is already getting, and will get significantly harder and harder in a lot of places. I also have no faith in the leadership of half the continent. Bright minds like in the Tshisekedi administration (DRC) who decided to let Big Oil ramp up the drilling in the Congo rainforest. You know, one of the biggest carbon sinks in the world.
