Apparently not. I was 110% fucking done with the whole MCU after that last Avengers movie, even that felt more of a chore to watch than actual fun, but most of my lib friends just keep watching it. Definitely not as much as before but they still watch the more prominent MCU shit.
That's not mcu. Iron man and then all the marvel movies made by Disney are mcu. It's distinctly different from other marvel moves that were made by Sony and fox.
No. In a loose sense it's connected but those are stand alone films, they don't tie into anything. If you just watched Iron man on its own the nick fury scene at the end wouldn't make sense, and so on with every other mcu film. You watch spider man 2 and you know everything you need to know from it, there's a little sequel hook but it doesn't raise questions.
