OK, but the game is still good. More importantly: the second one is awesome - far better than this one in terms of ruleset (especially combat/classes abilities), setting, and scenario. Also voiced by the people from Critical Role. It's the closest thing to the CRPGs of the golden age (BG1, BG2, Planescape, Arcanum...) we had until Owlcat Game appeared and managed to beat them all (except Disco: Elysium obviously, that one's a pearl in an entire distinct category).

Would you say it’s worth playing this one before the second or just go straight to the second?
i found the first one unbearably boring and overwritten, and that's as someone who played all the old rpgs (:chomsky-yes-honey: )
First one is much better imo
I googled Owl Game but I am only getting 'Dinner with an Owl'
What am I missing
Owlcat Games, the guys who made those two Pathfinder RPGs and are currently developing a Warhammer 40K one
Look up Pathfinder: Kingmaker and Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
Oh right. I was actually playing Kingmaker yesterday. Just had no idea what the devs name was I guess
Yeah, I was drunk, it was Owlcat Games; edited, thanks.
🥂
The story of PoE was good, but I could never get into PoE2. The walking statue was just so cringe
