Microsoft is so insanely bad at creating a product and actually improving it until people can use it. They seem to constantly dump tons of money into projects then abandon them for no reason. They made a whole web browser engine then abandoned it out of nowhere. Completely inept. They're trying to find ways to make money right away on things instead of making something people will actually use. Groove Music seemed inferior to all its competitors right off the bat but for some reason they expected someone to use it? It sucks so much that this is what people's time and effort is being spent on instead of making actually usable desktop software to improve areas that are seriously lacking.
yeah, and everyone else picks at them too. I mean, i'll do anything to avoid using an office product, but that was the only choice for years. They had years to improve their tools and make it nice but Google ate their lunch so fast because its wildly more convenient to just have a google doc than a word document you send back and forth. And they had years to figure it out!
Imagine spending years working on a product only for one inbred executive to axe the entire project because he couldn't figure out how to use it in 5 minutes or less.
