      I'd be fine knowing another comrade was a comrade, but yeah, no sharing usernames. Just the fact that we both browse would be enough.

      Like, I think my core persona is pretty true to who I am, but 1) I lie about details for opsec reasons (for example, I might say I have a particular disability when I actually have a different disability that results in the same needs), which makes things weird if I meet someone IRL and 2) I definitely don't spend the energy thinking through my posts the same way I would if I were going to have to defend them irl. For example, knee-jerk reaction is that the US balkanizing would be both good and funny, but it's not something I've actually given a ton of thought to. I definitely wouldn't want someone to be like "hey, doesn't this contradict your take on the US balkanizing?" like, idfk.

      that said, I think anyone who did know me irl would 100% be able to figure out this is me. so... maybe I need better opsec. :sweat:
