I honestly don't get why people are so up in arms about this.
I like my meat cooked. I like the taste and texture of charred meat. I like a little crunch sometimes.
If that's not what you like then that's fine, but if you serve me some squishy raw bloody chunk of flesh when that's not what I want, I'm not going to like it.
Maybe the problem is that these 2 things are so dis-simmilar that we need two names to distinguish them.
I've tried undercooked steak. I don't like it. I don't like the texture, the flavor, or the way I feel afterward. I feel sick and throw up a good percentage of the time after eating a bloody steak.
Fry mine to a crisp.
