    Grayzone did a lot of good work, particularly in Latin America.

    Blumenthal broke the judicial coup against Lula. Ollie Vargas and Ben Norton were on the ground for Bolivia. Aaron Mate handled the Syrian gas attacks.

    But Blumenthal has swung into the reactionary and pro-Covid camp, and most of the good writers there have left, with the remaining ones pulling shit like in the linked comments.

    Overall, the Greyzone has been a net positive to the left. Having worked there shouldn’t be a mark of shame. But it’s entering into an embarrassing decline.

    Now it sits with RT. Sometimes puts out decent stuff. But also has some cringe views.

      I didn’t know how to articulate it before, but “cringe” is a very good way to describe GrayZone now

      Grayzone had a very good article on the "Uyghur Genocide" which they published like 3-4 years ago and it still holds well.
